The LSU exodus continues, as reports coming out of Waco, Texas say Defensive Coordinator of the LSU Tigers Dave Aranda has taken the Head Coaching job at Baylor.

Aranda has been the highest paid assistant coach in college football for a few seasons. The LSU program has basically done everything they can to keep him in Baton Rouge as long as they could. But it appears that winning a National Championship for LSU was the last thing on his checklist before he moved on.

ESPN, and many other outlets, are reporting that Aranda will be Baylor's next Head Coach. Here's some of the details ESPN put together:

"Aranda, 43, emerged as the leading candidate for Baylor's vacancy on Thursday morning. Virginia Tech coach Justin Fuente and Louisiana coach Billy Napier, who both spoke with Baylor about the job, announced Thursday that they are remaining with their schools.

Baylor associate head coach and defensive ends coach Joey McGuire, who is serving as the team's interim head coach, also drew consideration for the permanent position.

Aranda replaces Matt Rhule, who last week left to become head coach of the Carolina Panthers. Rhule spent three seasons at Baylor and this past season guided the Bears to 11 wins, a spot in the Big 12 championship game and a Sugar Bowl appearance."
