Only in Louisiana can we have a 60+ degree Monday, snow on Tuesday, and low temperatures near single digits by Wednesday only to warm again to near 70 by Saturday!

If you're new to our neck of the woods, the answer is yes!  This really does happen all the time.  But the weather outlook couldn't be better for this Saturday's annual State Fair Boat Show Bass Tournament.  With temps nearing the mid-60's, those old bass might just wake up!

Two man teams of anglers have their choice of 10 different area lakes on which to fish.  Caddo Lake, Cross Lake, Lake Bistineau, Grand Bayou (Coushatta), Lake O’ The Pines, Brandy Branch, Red River, Black Lake (Campti), Black Bayou (Hosston), or Toledo Bend.

Entry fee is $200 per team and at least one member of each team MUST attend the pre-tournament rules meeting at the Cattleman's Building near Hirsch Coliseum this Friday at 6:31 pm.

Last year's winning lake was Grand Bayou and some are predicting it could produce the winning 2-fish string again this year.  Weigh-in on stage at Fair Grounds in front of the Hirsch Coliseum.

If you'd like to just watch the weigh in, you should make plans to be in front of Hirsch Coliseum at the State Fair of Louisiana Boat, Sport and RV Show from 3:00 pm until around 4:30 pm this Saturday.
