The first singer on tonight’s episode of ‘The Voice’ was Sylvia Yacoub, and she certainly did not disappoint. Her passionate delivery of Rihanna’s ‘Only Girl (In the World)’ caused three out of four judges to turn their chairs.

Christina Aguilera was the first to turn around, with Blake Shelton hot on her heels; Cee Lo Green hit his button soon after. "You got sassy at the end!" Aguilera exclaimed once the song was over -- and it was true. As each judge turned around, Yacoub gained momentum and energy, and you could really tell that she was having a great time.

"I’d be honored, thrilled and very excited if you picked me as your coach," Shelton remarked. Then Cee Lo (not so patiently) waited for the crowd to calm down before making his profound statement of, "I want you on my team."

Sadly, though, the male judges’ arguments weren’t good enough for Yacoub, and she decided to join Team Christina.

Originally from Egypt, the 19-year-old singer now resides in Michigan and hopes that ‘The Voice’ will be her big break. She inherited her passion and talent for music from her mother, who always loved to sing but wasn’t allowed to pursue it as a career in Egypt.

Here’s to hoping that Aguilera can help her dreams become a reality.
