The 'animal krewe' of Barkus and Meoux revealed their royal court for their 20th year yesterday which included KVKI's Ginger as 'Duchess of Furry Friends' and Bristol's husband Keith as King XX!

The prize pack is pretty intense! It is worth over $2,000.

It's going to be a 'PAWSOME' event this Saturday at the old Reeve's Marine in Bossier City!

The Krewe of Barkus and Meoux, better known as the 'animal krewe' in the Ark-La-Tex, have set dates for their events for the coming Mardi Gras season!

Northwest Louisiana's Krewe of Barkus and Meoux is known as the 'animal' krewe, but they prefer to be called a 'cause with a krewe.'

As one of the first local Krewes to help kick off the official Mardi Gras season, the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux definitely got everyone into the Mardi Gras spirit!

The Krewe of Barkus and Meoux held their annual jazz brunch Sunday, January 11th at the El Dorado Casino. Members of all the area krewes and fans of furbabies in general came out to support the Bone Appetit Jazz Brunch XVII

The animal krewe, the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux, will be celebrating all things furry Sunday, February 8th starting at 1:00pm at their annual parade at the new location.
