Lifeshare Blood Center is warning Shreveport-Bossier that blood supplies are critically low going into a long 4th of July holiday weekend.

Once again this year, the Bossier Sheriff's Office has teamed with LifeShare Blood Centers for the huge "Cuffs & Hoses" blood drive

LifeShare has constantly reminded us of late how hard their donation efforts have been hit due to the pandemic and winter storms, but the need for those donations continues.

Urgent Care of Louisiana will be hosting a blood drive on Friday July 20th. If you have time, stop by from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and donate!

LifeShare Blood Centers is looking to change that with the help of a little Blue Bell Ice Cream. Starting today and through Saturday LifeShare Blood Centers Shreveport and Bossier City, La. centers will receive a free pint of Blue Bell Ice Cream.

The extremely hot summer we've had so far has done more than dry up the water. Local blood supplies are also running low... But, no matter the weather or the season, blood is continually needed.
