A child custody exchange on Christmas day in west Shreveport turned violent after an argument.

The male victim was transported to Oschner LSU Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Upon arrival SPD located a male, believed to be 20 yrs-old, suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

While SPD was conducting their investigation they discovered there was a male in front of Ross suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Responding officers discovered that a 17-year-old female and a 20-year-old male were taken to local area hospitals with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds by private automobiles.

On October 3rd, 2022, Shreveport Police officers were called to Dr. Martin Luther King Drive on reports of a shooting.

Caddo Grand Jury indicted Ray on those Second Degree Murder charges. They also handed down indictments for 3 other people.
