We recently found a Louisiana recipe for "Soft-Shelled Cicadas". That recipe got us thinking...what the heck do cicadas even taste like?

Two broods of cicadas have emerged, and they do have favorite places they like to live.

They are going to need a whole team of people to clean up this neighborhood.

While other areas of Louisiana like New Orleans won't see a mass influx of cicadas this month, northwest Louisiana, specifically Caddo Parish, is going to be crawling with them!

2024 is going to be a historical year across Louisiana and South Texas as two broods of billions of periodical cicadas will emerge from underground at the same time.

That's right, billions of periodical cicadas are about to crawl out from under the ground to eat our souls and faces off.
