A Sulphur couple faces cruelty charges after a child tested positive for meth. Ricky Leger, 54, and Kristyn Jouett, 29, were arrested April 27 at their Sulphur home.

Earlier this week, Shreveport Police were called to Tealwood Street to reports of a child being abused.

SPD started an investigation and later found out that the teen was at a local hospital. The juvenile had gone to the hospital to report alleged abuse by his foster mother.

A Louisiana couple have been arrested on charges of second degree cruelty to a juvenile.

On June 13th, 2022, Shreveport Police Juvenile Detectives arrested 49 year-old Theresa Douglas for cruelty to a juvenile.

According to a report filed on May 5, 39-year-old Constance Cramer left a child home alone for four days without food.
