Today’s Groundhog Day, in case you weren’t aware. Punxsutawney Phil reportedly didn’t see his shadow this morning. That supposedly means there will be an early spring. We do things a little differently here in south Louisiana.
We have our own everything, music, food, customs, even our own weather forecasting rodent...
Just after 6:25 a.m. Punxsutawney Phil was pulled from is warm burrow in Pennsylvania and General Lee emerged from his plantation home to predict if we are to experience six more weeks of winter or if we'll see an early spring.
It's pretty comical that we turn to a rodent to predict our weather! At 7:25 a.m. today, Punxsutawney Phil was pulled out of the comfort of his warm burrow to tell us if spring was going to arrive early or if winter would be sticking around a little longer.
