Hit and run

Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers were contacted in reference to a report of a Hit and Run involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian

The driver then exited the vehicle armed with a firearm and fled on foot from officers.

The collision remains under investigation by the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s office.

On Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at 3:48p.m. officers responded to Jewella Avenue and Silver Pine Boulevard on reports that a child was struck by a vehicle.

A fatal hit and run has claimed the life of a pedestrian.

Apparently a Jeep hit this woman's parked car head-on, and kept driving with significant damage to their vehicle.
