The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has just issued an advisory to all motorists that a portion of I-20 is scheduled to be closed

The DOTD says this is an emergency closure and they give no date as to when it will re-open.

More road work is scheduled for I-20 in Bossier Parish and it could cause motorists some delays.

Driving in the northern half of Caddo and Bossier parishes will have an extra dose of problems this Saturday.

The Louisiana DOTD has advised motorists in our area to expect road closures this week in both the northern and southern portions of Caddo Parish.

For those that don't normally travel this area, LA 154 is the main throughfare between Ringgold and Elm Grove

The entire project is anticipated to wrap up by the end of this year, weather permitting.

The DOTD will have crews out again today, Tuesday, October 25 and again Wednesday, October 26, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day
