Sign-up for the fall soccer season begins  Friday, August 12 at the S. Main Mall and ends Saturday, August 13. The times are 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday.  The cost is $50 for first player in each family and $40 for each additional player.

The Greater Springhill Junior Chamber (Jaycees) will hold two meetings to inform prospective members about the benefits of the organization on June 14th at noon and June 16th at 6:00 PM.  Both meetings will be held at the Springhill-North Webster Chamber of Commerce at 400 North Giles Street in Springhill and light refreshments will be served.

This year’s Springhill Rodeo Parade Grand Marshal will be Dilton Emerson.  Many of you may know Mr. Emerson as a farrier and owner of Emerson Horseshoe Supply Company in Bossier City.  Mr. Emerson competed in Springhill’s first rodeo!  He is a PRCA Gold Card Holder and sits on the Board of Directors for the Cowboy Hall of Fame.
