State Fair

The State Fair of Louisiana is set to roll October 22-November 8. The Fair is closed on Monday and Tuesdays.

The State Fair of Louisiana closed early on Wednesday because of the weather, but it's back open today just in time for Halloween and dollar day.

The State Fair of Louisiana opens Thursday and runs through November 10th.

Being a food lover, I love this time of year because the State Fair gives me so many choices! And, until this weekend, I'd never tried anything I hated. Sure, the deep fried Orero's and Fried Coke aren't my favorites, but they were at least edible!

I'm so excited that's it's State Fair Time! Things got off to a soggy start Thursday... But there's still plenty of time to enjoy it. Things keep on rolling through November 13th. Now, if you haven't won any of our free tickets, let me give ya the scoop on prices and the special deals going on!

Fall is just around the corner. How can I tell? Because as you drive past the Fairgrounds on I-20, there's action going on. Tents and rides going up, livestock and exhibits going in, and food vendors getting ready to put food on sticks! But you can't just dive into the State Fair of Louisiana... It takes planning. And I'm here to help!

I'm all for trying new foods. At the State Fair of Louisiana, I think I've managed to eat one of everything, including the beef sundae!
