‘Tails, Tires and Tunes’ to Aid Cancer Victims Just 2 Weeks Away
Organizers of the 5th Annual Tails, Tires and Tunes are steadily working to prepare the river front in Logansport, Louisiana for another amazing event!
This event is special to the small Louisiana, town nestled along the Sabine River, as there are so many area families that have already directly benefitted from it.
As an outreach and fundraiser for "Boo's Battle Support Fund" the event was destined for success from its inception, if for no other reason, than its origin.
Boo's Battle Support Fund came to be after Brandi "Boo" Mills lost her battle with cancer back in June of 2017. It was in Boo's honor, that her family created the non-profit organization dedicated to helping local families battling cancer.
In essence, the entire area around North Toledo Bend, comes together to fellowship and to raise much needed funds that are distributed to local families stricken with cancer.
Personally, I can't think of a better reason to get together and party!
And the event is less than two weeks away! Scheduled for Saturday, April 2nd from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, the 5th Annual Tails, Tires and Tunes really does have something for the family and admission is free.
Bring On The Tails
Want tails? They are going to have 'em! Crawfish tails that is! Good old big uns and lots of them at a great price!
If crawfish doesn't please your palate, then they'll also have hamburger plates.
There Will Be Tons of Tires
How about those tires? That's really the jewel of the event.
From muscle cars and rat rods to tricked out trucks from nearly every decade, this annual car show brings out some of the finest automobiles to ever hit black top, and with awards in well over 10 categories, all contestants bring their best in hopes of winning!
Don't Forget The Tunes
As we all know, no event in Louisiana would ever be complete without music, so if you just want to come for the "tunes" they've got you covered there as well.
They'll also have a free bounce house for kids along with a number of other family activities like a cornhole tournament and organizers ask that if you're able, please consider making a blood donation to LifeShare Blood Center.
LifeShare will be on site with a donor bus and could really use donations to aid the regional blood supply. They do ask that, if possible, you sign up to help with their planning. You can do that online just by going HERE.
