In case you haven't heard yet, today is National Drink Beer Day!  According to nationaltoday.com we learn:

"National Beer Day celebrates the day in 1933 that the Cullen-Harrison act was signed into law, reversing the prohibition on selling beer in the United States. In 2009, a Virginian man named Justin Smith decided to commemorate this historic day, and created his own unofficial National Beer Day."

Though I'm not a big beer drinker myself, I know a lot of folks here in Kiss Country could go pro if this were a sport. In an effort to identify just which beers were the "go to" beers for most everyone here in the Ark-La-Tex, we put it to a poll on the air this morning.

And even though there weren't a lot of real shockers, there was one that was especially noteworthy and it was Miller Lite and the fact that if this poll had been done 25 years ago, I know they would have been on top, but in this poll, they didn't even grace the Top Five.

Maybe times are changing. And maybe it was just because it was Monday, and the real beer drinkers were still trying to recover from LSU's loss this past Saturday.

At any rate, here's what we found. It's The Arklatex's Top 10 Favorite Beers
