So I learned a little while ago, when my wife gets sick, she can't do a thing about it, since she is pregnant. I feel so helpless. She can take Tylenol, but that is about it.

It gets worse, as she gets migraines. Lemme tell you, if you have ever had one, they are debilitating.  When she gets migraines they come on with a vengeance. Occasionally, I can see them coming with a mood change or I see it in her face. The other night, we were sitting in the living room and I looked at her and I asked her, "are you getting a migraine?" Her answer, "no, I am fine." Then we went to bed. The next morning, she was in so much pain, she couldn't get out of bed and slept all day.

I feel so bad, as she can't do a thing about it. She has medication that helps with them...when she isn't pregnant, but not this time. So I jumped into helper mode, took care of our son and let my wife sleep.

Thankfully, that is exactly what she needed.

And by the way, the baby didn't kick her as much yesterday. Maybe she knew her Mommy wasn't feeling good.
