I have been enjoying seeing how my son has been embracing his Pre-school and the religious aspects of what he is learning. He may be too young to completely understand, but I think he is enjoying the hearing the stories. One day they will sink in, after all  is only 4.

What he will enjoy is an Easter Egg Hunt at my Mom's house. One  day he will learn that Easter isn't the bunnies, Easter Eggs, chocolate, plastic grass, etc. One day he will learn that the Easter Egg represents "new life", like a chicken hatches from and egg.  I will go into a more detailed description of what it all means as he gets older, but I think the simple route is best right now.

What is great is, I don't get to do this once, but twice. In a couple of years, my daughter will be able to do the same thing and hope her big brother will embrace the opportunity to teach her "everything he knows".
