The Rams Move to LA, Miranda Lambert Likes A Boy From Alabama + More!
Sports fans will find this interesting. The Rams are returning to Los Angeles for the 2016 season, even though their new stadium won’t be ready until 2019. As you might expect, residents of St. Louis aren’t very happy about losing their team after supporting the franchise the past two decades. FYI, LA is building a $2 billion stadium that will host both the Rams and either the Chargers or Raiders.
This puts things in perspective and what we watch on TV tells you a lot about what we as Americans are most interested in. The final season of American Idol debuted last week with 11 million views, Jennifer Lopez’s new show Shades of Blue had 8.6 million, 18 million watched the Golden Globes and 31 million saw the AFC Wildcard Playoff game between the Bengals and the Steelers. We sure do love football!
Be careful Miranda Lambert! You don’t want us to start thinking you’re a Bama fan! Miranda’s new boyfriend, Anderson East, is from Athens, Alabama which probably explains why she was posing outside of a burger joint there on Saturday. She also forwarded an Instagram video of two little piggies wearing Bama gear with Sweet Home Alabama playing in the background, captioning it, ‘Somethin’ about a boy from the south.’ Not for nothing Miranda, boys ALWAYS look better in purple and gold… Just saying!
