These Teens Have Disappeared In Louisiana Since The Start Of 2023
It seems like the state of Louisiana deals with an exceedingly high amount of missing children. One child is too many, but looking at it in a realistic way, the amount of missing children reported in Louisiana compared to the state's population seems to be incredibly high. Louisiana can use all the help they can get to combat this situation. That's where the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children comes in.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is not a police organization. They're not actually law enforcement in any way. They're a private 501(c)(3) charity organization that helps to find children that have been reported missing. Sadly, its something needed in our society.
With so much on the plate of law enforcement investigators, there are some things that don't get the full attention many believe they deserve; something like missing children. So an organization like The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children helps to fill in those gaps. Here's what the organization says about their work:
"The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. NCMEC works with families, victims, private industry, law enforcement, and the public to assist with preventing child abductions, recovering missing children, and providing services to deter and combat child sexual exploitation."
Since the start of 2023, there have been multiple children who have been reported as missing, who haven't been found. Here are the kids that have been reported as missing to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children:
