Think It’s Cold….It Could Be Worse!

So you woke up this morning to find out it was 16 degrees....cold right?  Well I thought that would be a record breaker for cold.  Boy was I wrong. 

Checked the historical weather data to find the record low for Shreveport/Bossier on February 2nd is 2.  We set that back in 1951.  I wanted to do a little more checking to see when we set the record for the coldest ever day in February and this is a shocker.  It was -16 degrees in Minden on a February day way back in 1899...now that's cold!
