Long before Colin Kaepernick ever dreamed to kneel at an NFL football game in defiance of America's Star Spangled Banner, there was Tim Tebow, kneeling for God and his Christian faith.

Of course, Tebow wasn't doing it for any type of recognition, but it certainly brought on the attention of scores who might not share his faith.

In an article from religionunplugged.com, we see that Ryan Fournier, a leading supporter of President Donald Trump tweeted an observation to his nearly one million followers:

“I’m old enough to remember when Tim Tebow kneeled for God on the field.  And the NFL got upset because that wasn’t the place for ‘divisive’ displays of one’s beliefs.”

We all know how the NFL changed their tune on that one.

Tebow wasn't afraid of the controversy regarding his faith.  He embraced it so much that his kneeling became passionately loved by fans who coined the kneels as "Tebowing."

In spite of his incredible athletic ability which allowed him to not only play in the National Football League but also to spend time in Major League Baseball, it's Tebow's faith that he cherishes most.

He's a three time New York Times best-selling author, founder of "Night to Shine", and an outspoken believer who has committed himself to "living a life of significance."

Never one to back away from the opportunity to speak on his faith, Tebow spends much of his time sharing the gospel, and he's going to do that this Sunday, April 10 at Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, Louisiana.

On the Cypress Baptist Church Facebook page, we see that Tim will be LIVE on Cypress' stage, speaking on his faith, its significance in his life, and how through all his success he's remained strong and faithful to God.

Tim will speak at both services; 9:15 am and 10:45 am, in the Cypress Baptist Church Worship Center.  The event is free, but seating is limited so plan to come early.
