Shreveport

Shreveport’s Farmers’ Market provides a place for farmers to come and sell fruits and vegetables. The market offers over a hundred vendors every Tuesday and Saturday during the market season which runs from June to September.

Operating hours are from 7:00 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tuesday market, which features musical entertainment.

Greenwood

The third annual Greenwood Farmers Market where local growers will be every Saturday morning (June 4th-August 27th) at 8:00 am – 12:00 noon. You’ll want to come early to get the best selection. Locasted right in the middle of Greenwood at William Peters Town Park off Hwy 80 (Greenwood Rd).

DeSoto

The Desoto Parish Farmer’s Market will be open from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday on the grounds of the David B. Means Memorial 4-H Center on U.S. Highway 171.

Minden

Farmers and backyard gardeners once again will participate in Farmers Market at The Farm, which opens Saturday. Gates opens at 7 a.m., and the market will run from 7:30 a.m. until noon or until vendors sell out.

Some of the offerings include homemade soaps and herbal creams, homemade confections, jelly, jam, pickles, fresh eggs, baked goods and locally-grown produce.

Anyone interested in selling at the market can do so by joining the sponsoring organization. An annual membership of $30 makes anyone eligible to sell at the market.
