I know that I will never understand what it's like to spend 9 months carrying a child that ends up coming out looking and acting like the father. According to several moms that I call friends, this is the most infuriating part of being a new mom.

According to these same girlfriends, the second most infuriating thing about being a mom is the misconception of Mother's Day gifts. As it turns out mom doesn't just want a box of chocolates like Forrest Gump. It's way more complicated than that. Let's start thinking about Mother's Day gifts like one of those situations where you have no idea where to go eat.

We've all had an argument deciding where to go eat right? How do we avoid these arguments? We start by asking questions as to what we are craving. We work it out from there and find out where we really want to go eat. I am convinced gift giving on Mother's day is just like that.

I took the liberty of taking the guesswork out of your gift-giving on Mother's Day and I hope this list is helpful. What's crazy about the list is that it turns out mom doesn't want the most expensive gift, well for the most part. Good luck to my buddies that are having to go get momma some botox.
