    Shreveport and Bossier City Farmer's Markets

    Both the Shreveport and Bossier City Farmer's Markets are in full swing and they've got tons of fresh produce, crafts and art for your perusal! Shreveport's is held Saturdays from 7 am - 12 pm in Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport and Bossier's is held Saturdays from 9 am  - 1 pm in the parking lot of Pierre Bossier Mall.

    Murphy's Shreveport Gun and Knife Show

    Murphy's Shreveport Gun and Knife Show is this weekend in the Agriculture Building on the Louisiana State Fair Grounds. The event runs Saturday from 9 am - 5 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for 11 - 15 year olds and free for 10 years of age and younger. The event boasts 250 tables and door prizes. You can also buy, sell or trade firearms.

    Double Rainbow Hunter/Jumper Horse Show

    Double Rainbow Equestrian Center in Haughton, LA is hosting a hunter/jumper horse show Friday and Saturday with specialty classes like 'ride a buck' and more. Safe social distancing and masks are required.

    Hope for Heroes

    This inaugural event is being held Saturday and starts at 7 am at Christ Fit Gym on Chinaberry Drive in Bossier City. This is an 11 mile run/walk/ruck and entry is $25.

    Shop Till You Drop

    Shop Till You Drop this Friday from 3 pm - 7 pm and Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm at the Bossier Civic Center. Admission is $4 and the event boasts vendors from all over the four states region. Children 10 years of age and under are free. Parking is free.
