It's the perfect day for a taco. After all, it is Taco Tuesday today and Torchy's Taco seems to have a taco for every taste bud out there.

Besides the fact that we are all craving a delicious taco, we can help our fellow Louisianians still dealing with the relief efforts of Hurricane Ida.

Why are we still dealing with Hurricane Ida relief efforts?

To date, Hurricane Ida caused over 40 deaths due to the storms. It didn't just tear up Louisiana, the Hurricane also brought tornadoes to 6 states. What I won't forget are the insane 172 mph winds in Louisiana. Hurricane Ida made landfall near Port Fourchon, Louisiana, and proceeded to terrorize southern Louisana.

According to the Inquirer.com, "Hurricane Ida and its remnants caused up to $95 billion in damage". CNN claims that 14,000 people in one Louisiana parish were without homes after "Hurricane Ida damaged or destroyed 75 percent of the structures there".

To say that there is still a lot of work to do in Louisiana concerning Hurricane Ida is an understatement. Luckily Torchy's Taco in Shreveport wants us to dine with them today, Tuesday, September 21st for a great cause.
