Tracy McGrady, Rebecca Lobo and More Selected to Basketball Hall of Fame 2017 Class

NBA legend Tracy McGrady, UConn women’s star Rebecca Lobo and Kansas men’s coach Bill Self have been selected to be inducted into the 2017 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, according to ESPN.

The 37-year-old McGrady (aka "T-Mac") played in the NBA for 15 years. During his career he played for seven NBA teams: the Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks and the San Antonio Spurs. He was also a seven-time All-Star player who averaged 19.6 points per game and is a two-time NBA scoring champion.

Fellow inductee Lobo led UConn to the national championship in 1995 and was a gold medalist for Team USA in 1996. She was also an All-Star player in the WNBA in 1999. Meanwhile, Self, has won 13 consecutive Big 12 regular-season titles and also won a national title in 2008 in the world of college basketball.

In addition, Notre Dame women's coach Muffet McGraw and Texas high school coach Robert Hughes also were selected to the class.
