For better or worse, we live in the age of Twitter, YouTube and cell phone videos. So nobody - repeat nobody - can make any kind of mistake without everyone in the world finding out.

The latest example occurred this week when consumer advocate Susan Clemens was shopping on Target's website and noticed something odd: The same style of dress in the exact same color was labeled differently depending on the size. The name of the color on the plus-size version was descriptive, and not in a flattering way. A dress for regular size women came in the color 'heather gray', but in plus-sizes, the same dress came in the color 'manatee gray'! Hardly complimentary...and hardly smart marketing.
