Ultimate Frisbee Tournament Will Benefit Veterans With PTSD
Cameron Hadley is a high school senior at Haughton High and his senior project is certainly off the beaten path. Tomorrow (October 24) he'll host an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament to benefit veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD.
In speaking with Cameron yesterday, he explained that Ultimate Frisbee is essentially football, except with a frisbee. Teams consist of 7 or more players and for those unsure of the rules, Cameron assures us it's pretty simple and he'll happily explain all the details to each team.
The tournament (barring lightning or a torrential downpour) will begin at 1:00 pm at Brownlee Park. Entry fee is $35 per team and all profits will be donated to the PTSD Foundation of America.
