UPDATE:
These are the stories we love to share! Opal has been adopted and is clearly excited about going to her new furever home! Her new momma looks pretty excited about her new companion as well! Thank you to everyone who shared Opal's story and for supporting our area rescues!

ORIGINAL POST:
Each week, Bristol's Babies shines the spotlight on adoptable pets right here in northwest Louisiana and with your help, we hope to eventually find them all homes!

Do you see that? Opal is smiling at you! Don't be put off by the fact she has one glass eye. She gets around fine and she has plenty of love to give! Make an appointment to meet Opal at Pet Savers of Shreveport and fill out an adoption application today!  Opal is up to date on her shots and her adoption fee is $150.

Here's what the Pet Savers website has to say about Opal:

I am a cute 4-year-old terrier mix that has just arrived at Pet Savers! I have one glass eye, but it doesn't slow me down a bit! Also, I am around 25 pounds. I get along with some dogs here, but I am protective of my food and get nervous if they crowd me. It would be best if I could find a home all to myself. I can't wait to meet you!
