What Flavor Is the Mountain Dew “VooDew” Mystery Flavor?

It is officially fall which gives us permission to embrace our Halloween side. Aren't we all suckers for limited-edition Halloween products? Mountain Dew isn't leaving all the spooky treats to just pastries, they wanted in and now many of us are perplexed.

I tried the new Mountain Dew  “VooDew” mystery flavor. No, it doesn't taste like Pumpkin Spice, it's more of like a skittles flavor. I asked several friends what they thought the flavor could be. One friend agreed that it tasted like skittles, the other said it reminded them of the Airhead candy Mystery Flavor. Someone said it was blueberry flavors, another said their kid tasted a cherry slushie.

You be the judge and try it for yourself. You can't miss the Mountain Dew VooDew in stores. There are two different sizes available. The 12-packs of 12-oz. cans and 20-oz. plastic bottles. The 12-packs are a bright purple, decorated with some creepy tree and an orange grim reaper character. The soda itself is a clear type of drink. Maybe they can make it orange next year? Or perhaps even a dark creepy purple?
