"Southern Charm Week" that showed two African American women on a plantation.

Some have suggested that the gameshow was depicting slavery, but they say that that was not their intention. The New York Daily News says the photo used on the show was taken in 2005.

Producers for Wheel of Fortune apologized to those that may have been offended by the photo used during the broadcast and stated that they will not use the photo in future broadcasts.

The photo in question was reportedly taken at Oak Alley Plantation in Vacherie, Louisiana. The spokesperson for the plantation says that they employ people of all races and that the women in this photo are tour guides.
