The kid from Springhill is about to make his NFL dream come true. When the first round of this year's NFL Draft gets underway, Devin White will be moments away from becoming an NFL player.

White was a star for North Webster High School in Caddo Parish, before moving on to become an All Time great at LSU. He grew up in North Louisiana, became a national name in Baton Rouge, and now will likely leave the state to become a star in the NFL.

But where in the country will Devin head to? We've compiled the projections from 5 of the leading sports publications in the country to try and figure out where Devin will be going. Here's what we found:

ESPN: #6 - New York Giants

NBC Sports: #5 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Bleacher Report: #4 - Oakland Raiders

NFL Network: #5 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

CBS Sports: #4 - Oakland Raiders

OK, so what we've learned here is that the only clear thing about Devin White's draft position is that it will be high. He's clearly a Top 5 talent, and might slide to a team like the Giants at #6 if there's a reach or trade in the first 5 picks.

Out of the three different teams mentioned above, New York would probably be the best place for Devin for professional reasons. It's a big media market, full of endorsement options, and more importantly, it's the most stable front office of the three mentioned here. Not to mention, most LSU fans who double as New Orleans Saints fans would HATE to see him twice a year in Tampa Bay colors.
