Whitney Houston's brother Michael Houston sat down with Oprah Winfrey in a tell-all interview where he admits to introducing the late singer to crack cocaine.

Michael, who appeared on 'Oprah's Next Chapter' with his mother Cissy, revealed that he was the first person to do drugs with Whitney. When Winfrey asked if he was the person who brought drugs into Whitney's life, Michael replied, "I would say, yeah … we did everything together, so I was into that and she followed suit."

He went on to explain that though he feels guilty for bringing drugs into her life, it was a different time back then. "You gotta understand at the time ... the '80s ... it was acceptable," he said, adding, "It's painful ... I feel responsible for what I let go so far."

Whitney was found dead nearly one year ago at the Beverly Hilton on Feb. 11, 2012. She was 48. The cause of her death was listed as an accidental drowning, but traces of cocaine, marijuana, and several prescription medications were found in her system.

In Winfrey's interview, she suggested that the introduction of drugs into Whitney's life is "the demon" Michael lives with. He said, "Everyday, everyday. It's something I've got to live with for the rest of my life."
