Why Bad Words Are Bad [VIDEO]

One of my resolutions for the year is to clean up my language.

Unfortunately, working in a radio station can make you speak like a trucker which is pretty funny since the fines are so big when using foul language on air. Trust me when I tell you sailors have nothing on what's said in the jock lounge!

I'm of the opinion that a beautiful woman can look ugly when she utters distasteful language. Trust me when I tell you I've been pretty darn ugly before! With that being said, I found this video particularly interesting. It explores why bad language is considered bad, ie: socially unacceptable. Turns out that swearing can actually be cathartic in some situations, but you wouldn't want to kiss your mom with that filthy mouth, would you?
