Get ready to "let it snow let it snow, let it snow!" The forecast at Sci-Port Discovery Center is calling for lots of snow. You and your family can have fun in the snow without having to fly out to Antarctica. Sno-Port: The Science and Wonder of Snowflakes kicks off on November 30th and comes to an end on January 30th.

The Sno-Port exhibition calls for a whole lot of hands-on-deck to get the lighting and displays just right. The Facebook event page said "In preparation to meet the emerging educational demands of STEM in local and national education, the team has developed activities which highlight a variety of science fields, including geoscience, biology, physics, mathematics, architecture, engineering, computer science, and chemistry. Sno-Port consists of a variety of interactive snow and ice-themed exhibits, displays, and games as well as information about the science and wonder of snow and snowflakes for visitors of all ages."

Interactive exhibits and activities include:

The Red River Rocket Sled, Blizzard Tunnel, Make A Flake, Ice Fishing, Snow Chair Lift, Snowball Castle, There’s No Place Like Igloo and the Snow Globe Discovery.
