Shreveport’s 22nd Annual Angel Run & Walk for Holy Angels Returns in April
I don't know how much experience you've had with Holy Angels in Shreveport, LA, but I can tell you, what they do is truly a blessing to our community. Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, it's your chance to run or walk a 5k in support of this amazing organization.
Why should you register for the Holy Angels Angel Run today?
Today is the last day to register for the Angel Run before the price to participate goes up on March 1, 2023. Not that that's a bad thing. Make sure you stay after the race to meet the residents and enjoy the music, activities, and area vendors on site.
What does Holy Angels do?
If you're not familiar with the Holy Angels mission, they are a non-profit residential program for individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They currently serve approximately 185 residents from more than 15 states. The program was originally started by the Catholic Diocese. The land was donated by three local families in 1963 and the first students graced the campus in 1965.
