Listen, before we get started - a mountain of respect for the men and women that worked tirelessly to get the water back on in the Shreveport/Bossier area.  It couldn't have been easy, and I am grateful that the water is mostly back on.

Unfortunately, the problems our recent winter storm just revealed to the public how unreliable our water system really is when the pressure is on.  Busted pipes, aging pumps, and the like created the perfect storm that shut down the water supply to tons of area residents.

In honor of our latest catastrophe (Dry Ice 2021? Still working the name), I have created a list of things more reliable than Shreveport's water system.
