Ok, I am guilty as charged and I know I’m not the only one!

Trick-or-Treating during Halloween can be fun time for kids, but for some parents it can be draining.

Walking throughout the neighborhood going house to house for a couple of hours while your kids gather candy and then making sure the candy is safe is just about draining.

However, I feel for personal compensation of my time is to reward myself with a few pieces of candy from my kids and apparently, I am not the only one.

According to WTHR, a survey conducted from TopCashBack surveyed 3,099 adults on Halloween related topics and the survey found that 78% of parents steal Halloween candy from their kids.

The other interesting fact is that 28% of parents have eaten more candy than their kids.

Now within reason I can totally understand since my personal favorite candies from Halloween are Snickers, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and Candy corn there is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself from the grueling hike of Trick-or-Treating.

Parent’s which candy are you stealing from your kids after Trick-or-Treating?
