There's certainly no love lost between LSU Tigers and Alabama football fans -- or between fans of the Crimson Tide and any other SEC school, for that matter. But the Alabama athletic department certainly didn't make any friends at Mississippi State when they came up a letter short in spelling the word 'Mississippi' on all the tickets for their game against the Bulldogs on November 13.

A spokesperson for the Alabama athletic department called the snafu an "unfortunate oversight." The University also said that unsold tickets to the game will be reprinted, but many, including season tickets and tens of thousands of early sales have already been distributed.

LSU, by the way, takes on the Tide the week before their game against Mississippi State -- a game many think will determine this year's college football champion.

Or, as they spell it in Alabama, "chamion."
