An Explanation Of What Calls Shreveport Police Won’t Respond To

Starting tomorrow (September 1st, 2020) the Shreveport Police Department will be changing how they respond to certain calls. In some cases, they're moving the responsibility of the call onto other agencies, and in some cases they're putting some of the investigative responsibilities on the victims.

The changes are being made due to the under-staffing issues the department has been experiencing.

There are still a lot of questions about these changes, and we're trying to help clear some of it up. We will be using the exact verbiage from the Shreveport Police Department. Here we go...
