Another local business on Line Avenue is closing its doors for good and this time it's not a restaurant. The Shreveport Times reports that after 37 years in business, Couleur Boutique will be putting up the closed sign permanently. It was just last weekend that another Line Avenue staple, Bistro Byronz, was open to the public for their final hurrah.

Couleur Boutique, owned by Kitty Rourk, will be open through August 31st, 2020, in the Town Oaks Square just down from Superior's Steakhouse on the corner of Line and Pierremont. They are already hosting a store closing sale featuring markdowns up to 75% off of their original prices. The store carries women's designer clothing, swimwear, jewelry, lingerie, skincare, and specialty bras. Some of the brands on offer include Gottex, Sunset, Joseph Ribkoff, and Frank Lyman. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 10 am - 6 pm.

Here is the original post to social media about the store closing. From cosmetics to skincare to a full-on boutique, it's clear that Ms. Kitty has touched a lot of lives over the years. All you have to do is read the comments in the post below to know that Ms. Kitty was a class act!
