Hi, y’all. My name is Kassie, and I am from good old Southwest Louisiana. I was born in Texas, adopted as a baby, and raised in Sulphur. I graduated from Sulphur High School and study Mass Communications at McNeese State University, Geaux Pokes! My mother and father both worked for the Calcasieu Parish school system for many years. Music was a staple in my house between my father who introduced me to old country and my mother who loved swamp pop to ‘50s. There was nothing better than sitting at the camp as a kid listening to music while dad would fry up some fish and throw back a few cold ones. We would eat and dance the night away. My own slice of heaven is right here in Southwest Louisiana. I am excited to be a part of the Gator 99.5 family and can’t wait to meet the best listeners in SWLA.
