Avengers: Endgame Smashes the $1 Billion Mark Already
Theaters across Shreveport and Bossier City have been packed for the last few days, with local theaters showing Avengers: Endgame on multiple screens at the same time, multiple times a day. From midnight showings to pre-9am showtimes on Sunday, comic book fans around the area have been buying mass amounts of tickets.
But it's not just the Ark-La-Tex.
CNN is reporting that Endgame has smashed every possible opening weekend box office record, including breaking the $1 billion mark worldwide.
Avengers: Endgame is the magnum opus of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the conclusion of a generation of Marvel films. It stars some of the biggest names in Hollywood, some of whom became A-list names based on their roles in the Marvel films. Robert Downey, Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, and many (MANY) more highly recognizable stars help bring this massive film experience to life. The film runs over 3 hours, and has carried incredibly high reviews from critics and viewers.
