We'll see a 'greener' look to Bossier City's first-ever Farmers' Market.

The market has partnered with Precision Waste Solutions to provide recycling bins for collecting beverage bottles and other plastic materials every Saturday, starting August 1 and running through December 19.

"We are very excited to be making this positive step," said PWS Vice President Lyndsi McGinley in a news release. "We anticipate this effort will build on Bossier City's residential and commercial recycling program successes and yield more materials away from landfills and keep Bossier City beautiful."

Ten bins will be located throughout the market at Pierre Bossier Mall, and will be coupled with garbage cans. They can be identified by their green labeling and recycle symbols. Attendees are asked to not put any materials besides plastics in the containers.
