As we get older our vision is affected.  Our reflexes slow down.  And, the most important part, we don't heal as quickly when we get banged around.  So, it might be a good idea to enroll in the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office "AARP Safe Driving Class."

The class, which could help reduce your insurance costs, depending on your insurance provider, will be held February 12 from 12 pm to 4 pm at the Northwest Regional Re-Entry Facility at 1121 Forum Drive in Shreveport.

This 4-hour refresher course is for drivers 50 and over.  Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. Payment should be made at the time of the class. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Make cashier’s check or money order payable to AARP or pay in cash with the exact amount.

To register contact Deputy Vickie Johnson in Community Programs at 681-0870.
