Where Can You Get the Covid Vaccine in Shreveport?
Only about 30% of Louisiana residents have gotten the Covid vaccine. We are near the bottom of the list of states for percentage of residents fully vaccinated. Several states have given the shots to more than 70% of their populations.
But several states in the south are lagging behind. If you want to get the vaccine, there are several locations.
The shots are available to children ages 12-15, but they must be pre-registered at www.lsuhs.edu to make sure parental consent is in order. Any one under age 18 needs the ok from a parent to get the shot.
