Krystal Watson from Nacogdoches, Texas was struck by lightning on a camping trip in Arkansas. She is currently recovering from the accident.

KSLA reports that Watson was "found face down on a rock with a fractured cheek bone, chipped teeth, and unable to move her arms and legs."

Just so you know, The National Weather Service says that the chance of someone getting hit by lightning during their lifetime is 1 out of 13,000. On average, 31 people die from being struck by lightning.

Thankfully, Watson is recovering.

The hard part now is dealing with the expenses since she does not have dental or health insurance. She has turned to Indiegogo to help her raise the money through crowdfunding. Her goal is 5,000. She is very close to making that goal but still needs help raising the money. Donations are still being accepted here.
