Governor John Bel Edwards made it official on Tuesday: anyone 16 to 64 with one or more health conditions defined by the CDC are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This also applies to staff of congregate living facilities.

KPEL News reported this on Monday after an email was sent to roughly 400 Louisiana pharmacies from a representative of the Louisiana Independent Pharmacies Association. On his twitter account, Governor Edwards announced the health conditions covered under the eligibility announcement.
