Erin Has Bad Week Picking High School Football

Record for week two: 7-6.  I'm not happy about this!

Green Oaks 31, Fairpark 14

Bossier and Huntington:  I thought Bossier would win this, but Huntington got the w. I'm wrong on the next one too, as Green Oaks clobbered Fair Park 31-14. I missed another big Friday night contest as Northwood squeaks by North Webster 35-33. I started getting on the winning track by taking Parkway over Farmerville.

The next five games were pretty easy to pick. Haughton pounded Benton and Airline grabbed an easy win over Richwood. I also got the Northwood win correct and I told you Homer would beat BTW. I knew Woodlawn had no chance against Neville. I also picked Ouachita to beat Shreve, but this one was closer than expected as the Gators fell 21-12. I missed another one as Southwood held on to beat Many, 30-21 and I also missed the North Caddo loss to Oberlin 46-41. This one was a heartbreaker.

My apology of the week goes to the Evangel Eagles. I thought they would have trouble against  Texas High but I was way ­wrong. The Eagles pounded Texas 54-7 and let the world know they are back, big time.
