Thieves Steal Tampon Rejects!

OK, now I have heard it all.

Thieves in Dallas stole a pile of rejected tampons that post a health risk if they are used. Kimberly-Clark operates a plant in Dallas where they make Kotex Natural Balance Tampons.

But this batch failed inspection and were sent to a third company for disposal. The defective products were then sold to the public. Kimberly-Clark says some of the tampons have increased levels of bacteria, the presence of metal particles and imperfect raw materials. The health risk to consumers is low and so far, there have been no complaints.
